D's Sneak Peak

When I tell you that I was so excited when J called me to do D's senior images, I'm not lying. I shot his Bar Mitzvah 5 years ago and wow has he grown up!

What a fun session we had in the studio! He brought his trumpet with him and people in the mall were popping in the studio talking to him about it...And he hadn't even played it here! I guess you can just smell talent when it's around.

D's off after he graduates. He's headed overseas for a year to study. I told his mom that he'll probably come home with a wife if he's not careful! What a sweetheart of a guy and he's not bad to look at either!! :)

Today's the last day of 2008. I hope that the new year brings all of you peace, health and prosperity.

Princess "F" or Princess Kitty

Remember her? She came in the very first day I was in my new studio at Orchard Mall. I got to photograph her with her BFF "I." What a couple of cuties I got to shoot that day!

On Sunday, I was able to photograph F all by herself. We had a great time at our session even though Miss Princess was very tight lipped! She didn't speak even a little bit! Silly girl! But we had lots of fun despite the lack of conversation.

She's just simply adorable! What a beautiful girl. She brought her flower girl dress and her Christmas dress and then we donned my favorite! The pink petticoat!

Princess Kitty was all about the woodland creatures when she first came in, so we had to capture those this time, too. What a sweet angel she is!

Daddy's going to have to watch out later on for this one! She's a beauty!!!

Pretty as a flower, "I" 's session

Last week, I had the fabulous pleasure of photographing "I". She was my second session on a very hectic day. And I was so worried that her session wouldn't go well based on everything that happened during the morning! WOW, was I wrong! After the addition of some new lights, since the old ones exploded earlier that day, I captured Miss Personality. She even brought her friend along with her for some fun shots.

So, here's Lady "I." She was a blast and totally ended my day on a high note. I was SO very thankful!

Look at these eyes!

I had this session with sweet little E on Sunday. She came in and was a bit sad, but had some food and all was good! She was clowning around in front of the camera for a good long time! I got a bunch of really great shots. I'm hoping to use some of cute little E in my marketing in the coming year. She was so much fun!

On Friday, I was super lucky to work with A and T. When they walked into the studio, I was SO excited to photograph them for their Christmas cards. What absolutely gorgeous children! And what little personalities. A is a little mommy - very sweet to her little brother, and T was making me laugh the entire time! What a little ham!

I love when my sessions are like this! Sweet kiddos, fun parents. I love my job!

"Z" Sneak Peak

Couldn't help that play on words there! This is the Z family. What a fun session to have! Even Grandma R got in on it! I and L are incredibly full of personality as you can clearly see, and E,M and R (who just happen to be great friends of ours!) were naturals in front of the camera.

They just had to get into the studio during November so they could participate in the promotion. So great and very much appreciated! At the end of the day, L discovered my cute pink pettis and donned one for her own little mini mini session. So much fun!!!

Everyone had a great time in the studio and during the session...Be on the lookout for these guys! They're all destined for GREAT things!!

Aren't they just too cute!!??

Check out these two BFF's! Meet I and F. They popped on over from the dance studio across the hall when they saw my lights and backdrop. They asked if they could have their pictures taken - No problem! I was editing a couple images that I'd just shot, so it wasn't a big deal at all! Plus, to look at these two...My gosh are they gorgeous! And they were so sweet, too! Definitely Best Friends!

So enjoy these two! What a treat this little impromptu visit was!!! Stop by the studio...maybe these two will get a spot on my wall of fame sometime soon! :)

The C's Sneak Peak

Today was my first day in my new studio! What a great day, too! I'm right across the hall from a dance studio so I get to see a bunch of cute kids running around and laughing. I love that! There's really not much better than the genuine laugh of a little kid!

I also got to photograph my friend's J and A's little ones! They were so much fun! M finally smiled for me! I've only been photographing him, his brother A and their sister H for what? Like 3 years or so! So M brought his adorable personality with him, A is ALWAYS smiling and is such a ham in front of the camera and what can I say about H?! She's a natural! Helped me out by posing her little brothers and acting like such a little mommy! She was awesome!

One of my favorite babies in my new studio space!

Did you know that I'm running an amazing special in November? I'm donating 15% of my gross sales to Gilda's Club in honor of a friend of mine who's fighting breast cancer. She's going to win, I know, but it still hits too close to home for me. This is the least I can do for her!

So, that being said, I've begun moving myself into my amazing studio space at the Orchard Mall in West Bloomfield. Today, I got to spend a little bit of one on one time (well as one on one as you can get...my sister was there!!) with my nephew G.

When I say that G is one of my all time favorite babies, I'm serious. This little guy had me from hello. Whenever I see him, my face lights up and I just get all soft and mushy. I'm pretty sure he feels the same way. I love this kid!

These are just a few of him. I know they're similar poses but his expressions are priceless. I firmly believe that he's probably one of THE happiest, fattest, squishable babies ever!

R and A's sneak peak

Yesterday after an afternoon of shooting at Baby Loves Disco in Pontiac, I got to work with R and A. From the moment I first saw A, I wanted to shoot with her. She's adorable! Only yesterday was I able to find out just how cute she really was!

She's totally a bundle of energy! So not shy and just a whirlwind of activity! What an absolute sweetheart - she felt right at home in front of the camera and had her own ideas of what I should be shooting. See the two peace signs? That was A's idea! And the monkey bars, too! That was A's money shot!

She was giggling and laughing the whole session (well, almost the whole session!!!). She even brought along her new best friend, Miley. Miley was cracking all of us up and was the icing on the cake. What a perfect ending to a beautiful weekend!

I know you'll be seeing more of A, hopefully on my website, shortly!

My recent session

So, not so much of a sneak peak here. But this is a recent session of a couple of cuties. One just happens to be my daughter and the other is the daughter of one of my best friends. We had to go out and shoot in these adorable new "petti's" that I bought. I think they're so cute and add so much of a "girly girl" feel. Plus I thought these two totally acted like sisters! They were holding hands, then arguing, then giggling the whole time! Back and forth, back and forth...just like sisters do!

So, just had to share these. I'll be shooting some more adorable kids on Sunday (10/19) at Baby Loves Disco. This is such a fun event! This month, it's at the Crofoot in Pontiac from 1-4 pm. Come and see me!

A's 9 month session sneak peak

Can you believe how big she's grown! She's a little doll! Whenever I go over to the house, she's always full of smiles. Her mom even said "She REALLY likes you!" How great did I feel after that!!!??? :)

Well, here she is - at 9 months. What a cutie! Her eyes get bluer and bluer each time I photograph her and her little personality is just so very sweet! Gosh, I feel like I'm gushing whenever I talk about her.

There's really not that much more I can say about this little one...I've said it all over and over for the past nine months. What am I going to do after her next session??? Her baby plan is up in January and then I'll be going through A withdrawals! So, I guess for now, I'll just have to enjoy her (and all of her adorableness) in these precious images!

OH! And by the way...this last image is my all time favorite of her that I've posted here!! So, so, so cute!!!

The T family's sneak peak

I love these guys! I've known C and C since they were born and they're like my own kids. When A called me and asked me to photograph her family, I immediately said YES! I love working with her and her amazing husband, J. We always have a blast when we work together.

C is a budding little model and is so darned creative - we were able to take a bunch more of her that aren't getting posted here...You'll have to check out the Frameable Faces group on Facebook to see those!! She's an amazing dancer and is so much fun to be around. Little C is all boy. Completely full of energy and continually makes me laugh...even when he's "acting up!" I love this image of him...it describes his attitude of our session this time to a "T!" But then, he turns that little frown upside down and is full of sweetness and amazing expressions!
